Young Libertarian says he would like to be Mayor of Shreveport

He’s a Church of Christ preacher, a Libertarian candidate for Mayor of Shreveport – and a Junior at Southwood High School.
Parker Ward has his eye on the prize. He has voiced political ambitions on several local forums since he was 16 years old. I had some email exchanges with Parker at one point a couple of years ago.
Parker knows he is building for the future. If he stays on his determined course, he could very well have some success at some point.
Personally, I think it’s great to see a young person who is so centered and so focused.
Watch the video from KTBS and see what you think.

  1. I totally would back this guy, but I checked his Facebook and he is supporting the Colts in the Super Bowl. Not cool. WHO DAT! ;)

  2. No, say it's not so! Not the Colts.

  3. Refreshing young to his aspirations!!!

  4. Oh man...that was SO ME in 1977. Sigh...

I hope life doesn't suck the spizerinkum from this young fellow. Good on him! You GO, Parker!
