Three Year Old arrives at daycare with marijuana, xanax

A three year old Bossier City boy gave his teacher a bag containing marijuana & 36 bars of Xanax after he arrived at the Hooter Park Head Start Center today.

Patrol officers, Detectives, Juvenile and Narcotics offiers arrested Angela Evette Jenkins, Jessica Renee Flournoy and Ellis Ray Flournoy Jr. and charged them with a variety of crimes.

  3. With the drug problem we have in Bossier that could have happened at any day care. So keep putting your blinders on Bossier Utopians. We will be Shreveport before you know it.

  5. I'm pretty well shocked on this one, and I MUST admit it.

The Mom lives in the 400 block of John Wesley Blvd (that's named after a Methodist). And, she's a "Flournoy," too!

What is this world coming to? I mean, if you are from one of the most historical families in the area, and you live on a religious street like John Wesley Blvd., shouldn't you at least...oh, never mind...

  6. Maybe it was for medical purposes like nerves and medical marijuana. I heard this helps some people.

  7. I did not know there is a "Hooter Park" in Bossier. I know there is a nice restaurant there called "Hooters". It might be a place worth a visit as long as the park is not used just by junkies.

  8. The park is located in the back of a neighborhood called the Barksdale Annex. It referred to as Jacks Quarters. If your white or not a police officer chances are you probably haven't been to this area.

  9. Xanax bars? I feel so old and so unhip having to resort to Urban dictionary to find out they mean scored pills.

I don't understand the charge of "child desertion" either. "Child endangerment" makes perfect sense. Of course I realize that maybe not all the circumstances were reported.
