Funeral services will be held Friday for former City Council member Chubby Knight.
After retiring from Delta Airlines, he moved back to Bossier City and ran successfully for City Council.
Services for Robert Jones will be held Saturday. He was a captain with the Bossier City Marshal’s office and was well regarded in law enforcement circles.
Robert Jones was a very good man - i wish i had been a better friend to him. He will be greatly missed and bossier city has lost a true public servant

ReplyDeleteMy Heart goes out to both Precious families and we are so sad for your terrible loss! Both men were Special and touched so many lives on their Journey through Life and will be missed by all, but certainly not forgotten!That's ironic that God took both really Special Good men back home around the same time, and that both were honorable servants of the people, listed in the same post and shared in some of the same duties of life, just wanting to make a difference and Believe! We the People thank you both for your dedication, compassion and unselfish sacrifices in our behalf! God Bless and comfort Chubby and Robert in their journey back home and again Thank Yall so much!
