  1. I get the Fax-Net Update published by local political guru Lou Burnett. When you look at the total number of contributors for each candidate it is very clear who has the most support. He list Nerren as having 65 contributors. Graves has 14. Slattery has 13. Say what you want, that says it all to me. also, look at the names of Nerrens contributors. They are not the type of people that are usually associated with losing candidates

  4. I see lots of lawyers on the lists, and others that I know to be crooks, or that have family on drugs, so I know what kind of influence they are trying to buy. But there are a number of $2500 "donors" on all three lists where I don't know the connection or motive.

  5. I got a copy of that article. I agree, numbers don't lie. Nerren has a lot more contributors than Slattery and Graves put together. I smell a win for him

  6. It could be that nerren just knows alot of people because he has spent so much time in the community. Could be he asked people first and got his name out early. Also, could be that he is respected by many people because of his investment in the community over the years. The list shows he has the most diverse list of donations. All three are good men.

  7. Or it could be that Slattery and Graves opted to spend their own money as opposed to sending friends out to solicit on their behalf. Therefore, in the event elected they it will be much easier to remain impartial.
Also noticed Burnett's article is incomplete.

    1. If that is the case then why would they have accepted any contributions at all? Anon 5:15

  8. I don't think that a judge's acceptance of campaign contributions means he can't be impartial. The amount of money raised in any campaign is an indicator of support and ultimately how an election will turn. All three are good men, but the contributions both in number and quantity are indicators for how the race is going.

  9. I am giving ny vote to Whit Graves. All three are equally qualified. I saw Whit out door to door, and the other canidates had their supporters out for them.

Everyone has a right to vote for who they like and thats great but just to clear up something for you Mike Nerren walked door to door, about 25% of the time, he only outed his supporters a bit!

    Fixed that for you.

  15. I don't see Graves making the runoff. If he had run closer to Nerren then maybe. Too much to make up. Smart plan would be to pull out and save the money for another race.

  16. We got a big Nerren win last night and there's absolutely no way Whit Graves can catch us now. Slattery was told to get out and save his money for the next one in two years but the fool didn't listen.

  17. Give the man a break.. he is out of the race. The race is now Nerren Vs. Graves.....meaning stop using words like "fool" when refering to Judge Slattery. I guess Mitt Romney was a fool too because he lost. Please focus on the second race now! Nerren vs Graves or Graves vs Nerren.
