I can't even imagine the devistation. Every time I think of it I send a prayer up to ease the suffering.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7191599071198288307.post-14514949740910715962011-03-13T18:56:24.497-05:002011-03-13T18:56:24.497-05:00I notice on most news outlets they are under ratin...I notice on most news outlets they are under rating the death toll, saying 10,000. With as dense a population in Japan it is going to be much, much higher. Whole towns washed away. Thats where the major damage was done. Just pray for the poor souls, they will never find a lot of them<br />Alexalexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11567199741088468464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7191599071198288307.post-21331455688440030342011-03-13T14:43:59.089-05:002011-03-13T14:43:59.089-05:00First off, let me say, my prayers go out to the pe...First off, let me say, my prayers go out to the people of Japan and all those affected by this. Major events like this do affect us in some way. Reports are that the earthquake also moved the island 8 ft. I had been reading those reports about it shift the earths axis. The Chilean earthquake a few months ago was also reported to do this. I lived in Anchorage for 3 years and saw some of the effects of the 64 quake which also caused a tidal wave that hit the western coast and along the alaska coast causing major damage. In Anchorage 3rd and 4th street run parallel to each other, but 3rd street is about 2 stories lower than 4th street. Before 64 they were even. Daddy says that one also caused boats to come loose down around New Orleans. I heard this morning, one in central Arkansas many years ago caused the bells to ring in one northeastern states city. I have felt only 2 in my lifetime. One was in Alaska. Things kinda of slowly moved. I asked my wife about it cause I thought I may have had vertigo. She said it was an earthquake. I did feel one here in Norht La when I was little. In alaska we did have a crew of plumbers working on a water line. Two big men and one small lady. She pushed them out of the way to get to the ladder first and get out of the hole. Well if the nuclear reactors don't get fixed, they are gonna have even more trouble. It is winter there and that makes survivng ever tougher. May God help them.Darrellhttp://www.mygodsbeengood.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
