Three of the members of the Shreveport-Bossier Tea Party coordinating team, including myself, were present at the hearing today. I even said a few words in opposition to the proposed tax increase.

Matt Sciba
Shreveport Bossier Tea Party Coordinating TeamMatt Sciba - Shreveport Bossier Coordinating Teamnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7191599071198288307.post-62886558086860400702010-06-17T10:13:50.981-05:002010-06-17T10:13:50.981-05:00I am torn on this issue. In one respect I feel sorry for Sheriff Deen's deputies and his dictatorship ways of running their lives and feel most of them earn every penny they get.... On the other hand I feel that BSO has ALOT of over paid flunkies who serve at the disposal of an insane man and are only there to kiss his a$$ and could care less about the people of Bossier Parish!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7191599071198288307.post-76019043844454989452010-06-17T09:45:43.840-05:002010-06-17T09:45:43.840-05:00We voted on this last month. I think they made a sane, and respectful statement. But, I do kinda wonder who "they" is.

Don't get me wrong, I think the statement is correct. It just kind of puzzles me to see a statement from a "movement." I'm sure there are a lot of tea partiers that might not mind the increase...may even be in favor of it.

I won't even say that it rubs me the wrong way. It just puzzles me.Andyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10945901944078164054noreply@blogger.com
