This is horrible. WHERE is his public defender!!!!

Exactly, people are missing the BIG PICTURE here. Whey didn't the judge just have him ordered to be lynched, like back in the 'good old days'. This story STINKS, and it is pathetic!!!!

I hope President Obama gets a hold of it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7191599071198288307.post-31643979777390653702011-06-28T19:45:17.322-05:002011-06-28T19:45:17.322-05:00Join the facebook support group for roy brown

Remember, this was the theft of $100, which he then brought back.

Apparently, if you have enough money and/or have a postion of power, you can steal millions, even billions and get a slap on the wrist, or at worst, get a couple years in one of those luxury prisons for the wealthy.

Great job, legal system. You're not corrupt at all... I saw a story recently where a head of a major company was caught defrauding people out of $3 Billion (in other words, a crime 30,000,000 times worse in terms of amount of money involved), yet he only got 40 months. That was Paul R. Allen of Oakton, Virginia, sentenced two days ago. Also, from briefly looking up other states' laws, this would be considered a pretty harsh sentence in many other states, including California. I guess that's another way in which Louisiana is a backward state, in addition to its health care and poverty levels.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7191599071198288307.post-89020467053528749732010-03-29T19:46:57.067-05:002010-03-29T19:46:57.067-05:00Going to detox centers is just a start for them to...Going to detox centers is just a start for them to regain their sobriety and to stop substance abuse in the future.Jazhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02195553010364534406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7191599071198288307.post-9138170644051679572009-01-18T23:44:00.000-06:002009-01-18T23:44:00.000-06:00I do not believe those are the points of this stor...I do not believe those are the points of this story....much deeper.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7191599071198288307.post-67010710826425199482009-01-18T14:37:00.000-06:002009-01-18T14:37:00.000-06:00while one side of me feels sorry for him, he could...while one side of me feels sorry for him, he could have chosen a shelter, he could have contacted the state for help, he could have sought help from a church, he managed to find money to drink though,....sad choices people make, and it's no ones fault but his.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
