Not a thing is done in any other office without his say-so.

So far, Bossier City has spent nearly $3Million on the Walker Place lawsuit, and it is expected they will spend $5Million before its over. All of the money is paid to outside law firms to do the job, but we still pay Jimmy Hall an annual salary.

One problem with voting in bossier city is that there aren't enough good people running who have the money to compete with the "good old boy" system. The good old boys fund each others campaigns, use whatever government resources and employees they can to campaign for them, whether legal or not.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7191599071198288307.post-81134016790835233282012-02-15T17:06:25.276-06:002012-02-15T17:06:25.276-06:00Bill R.

From the Sheriff to the lowly city councilman. This past year, a young man took on the machine, and even though he did not win, Larry Dean will now be unemployed. I wish there were more like him, men with real guts. It is unfortunate that he did not win and Larry's cousin will be sheriff. I guess when it comes right down to it, if he had not run, Julian would still be calling cousin Larry, "Boss". Looks like Julian owes Mr McConnel a vote of thanks. But, mark my word, his days are numbered as well and I hope everyone will see that Julian is just as dishonest. Our mayor along with Jimmy Hall, members of the city council and the police jury all need to be voted out. That is the only way this mess will be fixed. We plan on hiring a third party auditor to come in and research all the numbers again that the Mayor had done in 2-1/2 days which in my opinion couldn't be done by a CPA firm in that amount of time.
