Have any suggestions?

I put a poll on the sidebar titled "What do you want me to blog about"?
Of course I'll continue to blog the same stuff as in the past, but I really do like to get feedback. Tell me what you like to see in My Bossier.
If you have any specific suggestions, please leave them in the comment section. I know that's really asking for it, but bring it on!

  1. You haven't had much on Bossier City government lately.

  2. You have to do what interest you. But I would like to read a blog about Bossier City history. I have heard stories about "The Strip" but it was before my time, and I don't know how much to believe. Did the Carlos Marcello "family" really run this town?

  3. Realist, good idea. We could do some good history.
I could give you some personal perspective into the Bossier Strip. Yes, Marcello had strong connections up here.
    Thanks for the suggestion.

  4. Jim, Realist has a good idear there. I've done a couple of posts on "Old Bossier, and the Strip." It is fascinating how many people are interested in it.

I got some great e-mails from former Bossierites, spread far and wide. I'll send them to you.

  5. Do a blog and a survey of how people feel about the upcoming vote in Bossier City on the tax renewal on May 1 that funds the Police and Firefighters salary.
