I was following a conversation on Twitter last night just before going to bed between Breitbart and Lamar White, Jr., who blogs as CenLamar.
Lamar, who was an aide to Alexandria mayor Jacques Roy, is currently at SMU in Dallas studying law. I have linked to CenLamar for years, and he kindly has linked to My Bossier. We have commented on each other’s blogs at times.
The Twitter discussion was about an article in the Atlantic. It wasn’t a particularly contentious exchange, particularly in Breitbart terms.
The last thing that Breitbart put on Twitter was addressed to Lamar:
AndrewBreitbart I called you a putz cause I thought you were being intentionally disingenuous. If not I apologize. @CenLamar
Go figure.
Actually Jim, this is the first I've heard of it. (Been way out of the loop on news, and even talk radio...extremely busy...still haven't taken a look at what I heard a couple of days ago about tornadoes in MO.)
ReplyDeleteDang! Breitbart was one of the really good guys. I used to hear him fill in for Dennis Miller on his talk radio program. The guy had an extremely boring, monotone voice. In fact, it was so geeko that you actually soaked in every word, reference, and nuance.
Pam and I would listen while we worked, and would always end up in a conversation about what a unique gift the guy had...dull as a bag of hammers, but as interesting as hell. You could tell that he was one of the really good guys...the kind you'd like to have as a neighbor.
Interesting cat...he WILL be missed.
I had never heard of this person before seeing this post. His picture looks like a younger Rush Limbaugh, and I guess that is who he was trying to be. It is very unusual for someone of that age to just suddenly die, without any known illness, unless someone has a history like the celebrities who suddenly die.
ReplyDeleteObama probably had him murdered because he was working with a sheriff in Arizona, and they were about to expose that Obama is actually an African, and thus not qualified to hold office in America. I hope they did a post-mortem, and are able to prove that he was murdered by Obama.
