Judge Cox upholds election
To no one's surprise, Judge Jeff Cox upheld the April 21 bond election. John Settle must pay all costs of the lawsuit. The Times has a copy of the judgment here.
Jeff cox is a good judge - he rules just as much against the government as he does with it - he did the right thing - settle never does the right thing - in fact - this is my last comment about a settle matter - i am stopping all talk about settle because it is a frivilous as talking about monkies flying out of my butt - neither are worth of comment and both are not productive discussions -
Rules of the road: 1. No personal attacks or insults. 2. No accustory statements about wrongdoing or criminal acts against anyone. 3. Say all you want about the pros and cons concerning the candidates and the issues, or the general subject of the blog post, just follow Rule #1 and Rule #2.
Well, I am surprised, just overcome with shock and awe! I just knew that politician Jeff Cox was going to overturn the tax increase.
ReplyDeleteJohn Settle loses In yet another frivolous lawsuit he filed. Publicity hog. At least he was ordered to pay the costs.
ReplyDeleteCox the politician, hear he wants to run for the 2nd Circuit
ReplyDeleteI think Jeff Cox is a good judge. I hope he does run.
ReplyDeleteI like jeff also but he will not get my vote.

ReplyDeleteAre you saying a politically motivated ruling would have been to overturn the increase and piss off every educator in Bossier Parish?
2nd Circuit? I thought he was considering La. Sup. Court.
ReplyDeleteThat legal titan John Settle strikes again. Why would anyone spend their hard earned money on that guy as their lawyer?

ReplyDeleteGood try mr. Settle. Keep up the good work. I sure you will appeal the decision. Maybe the 2nd circuit will give you a fair shake.
ReplyDeleteJeff Cox knows less about law than any judge in the 26th JDC. He's also unprofessional and a swinger.
