Some days are diamonds (some days are stones)
The other day Andy did a blog post with a couple of John Denver songs. I always liked John Denver, and like anyone else I had my favorite. Today I just want to listen to it, and want to share it with you.
Heh! Jim, I got blind-sided by my old, crusty, blog-buddy, Buck! After I posted those vids, he came back with his "Music I can't stand to listen to" deal, featuring John Denver!
I literally laughed out loud. But, I'm planning revenge...
Thanks for the linkage, and for the song. I had actually forgotten about that one. I never was an enormous Dutchendork fan...but every once in a while, a memory of a certain time, certain place, and a certain young lady will throw a Denver song at me.
Rules of the road: 1. No personal attacks or insults. 2. No accustory statements about wrongdoing or criminal acts against anyone. 3. Say all you want about the pros and cons concerning the candidates and the issues, or the general subject of the blog post, just follow Rule #1 and Rule #2.
Back in about 78, I worked a week at a carnival and they played his songs over and over. I enjoyed it.
