Bossier Parish Sheriff Larry Deen will hold a meeting at 10 tomorrow morning to get feedback and answer questions about his decision to increase the property tax millage from 12.17 mills to 13.51 mills.In recent years the sheriff has rolled back the rate, but now says it is necessary to adjust it.
From a new training facility to new substations, the sheriff has grown his department in the past few years. Some people think this is good, some bad.
Deen is very popular with Bossier voters, however, having had no opposition in the last election.
