Hollenshead endorses Gatti

Todd Hollenshead, who finished third in the State Senate District 36 primary with 26% of the vote, officially endorsed Ryan Gatti in the State Senate District 36 runoff to be held November 21st.  Gatti finished second in the October 24th primary with 34% of the vote.

Todd Hollenshead Endorsement Statement:
"Today, I want to publicly endorse Ryan Gatti in the State Senate District 36 runoff on November 21st and I ask that you join me in supporting him to represent us all in Baton Rouge.
During this election season at public forums and events, I have gotten to know him, and like me, I feel he has Louisiana's best interests in mind.  In Ryan, I see a person with the tenacity to do what is right for Northwest Louisiana.  He is a Christian, a dedicated husband, and devoted father.
Ryan and I both grew up working with our hands.  I went to work in the oilfield to pay my way through college.  He worked for his dad's salvage yard.  We both learned early on the value of a strong work ethic.
We need fresh ideas and someone that won't be a "yes man" to anyone but the people he represents.  Career politicians helped Bobby Jindal make a mess of our state.  As I have said throughout this campaign, the definition of insanity is electing the same legislators over and over again and expecting different results.
Lobbyists in Baton Rouge know that certain legislators will be a good return on their investment, which is why they keep flooding campaign accounts with PAC donations.
We need someone like Ryan who will make things right again and represent the people of this district, not lobbyists and out-of-state special interests.  I am trusting now that Ryan will fight for our businesses and our families, make our teachers and children's education a top priority, protect our precious unborn and build a firewall around the Second Amendment.
I am asking that you also support him with your vote.  Join me and let's all work together to make sure we elect Ryan Gatti on November 21st."

  1. Henry Burns is a good man. I don't think I've ever seen him run an attack ad. That said, some survey firm called me and wanted my opinion on the Senate race. They asked if the fact that Ryan Gatti supported Democrats like John Bel Edwards would sway my vote or not. I was a little surprised at their question...is there any truth to this statement?

    1. I received the same call. It was worse than an attack ad. Henry has flipped on commom core, taxes, he was 100 per cent behind Jindal, who is a big reason for the mess the state is in. Ryan is to be commended for supporting Edwards as opposed to Vitter. It shows he is voting for the person, and not strictly along party lines, which is what many people in Bossier parish do, without looking at the voting records and character of the candidate

    2. Yes but it does show questionable reasoning to support someone who is consistently for bigger government, higher taxes, and more regulations while belonging to the Republican party.

    3. I would understand your argument if Edwards was some fantastic conservative crusader. That's not the case though. Like I said, it shows questionable reasoning if you are a conservative and yet you support someone who is very solidly liberal.

    4. i was a former deputy. beware of the gatti family. i knew randy gatti at one time.one day he called me up said he he had something i would like. i show up in full uniform and randy pulls out a full auto uzzi 45 cal with a silencer.trying to sell it to me. telling me a sob story about him and regan breaking into some place that the ak47 was his the same one involving larry thompson and the uzzi was regans.well regan supposedly found the ak47 randy had hidden at one of the wrecking yards so randy stole the uzzi from regan.a couple months after i reported this to atf in shreveport i was let go from sheriffs dept. about a month or 2 after i was arrested for burglaries in bossierby det.r nunery and fbi agent brian long. i have copies to this day of log sheets proving i was at work when randy gatti stehanie richardson who was a medical courier delivering supplies from one dr office to anotherand a richard boyd a relative to the gatti family when the burglaries occured.now there trying to force me to take xannx for adhd just like the last guy so they can have bossier pd show up and put him down.a dr from david raines was said to be involved as well as walgreens on airline. and knowing the bank robbery could have been prevented just goes to show you what cops lives are worth to the gatti. heres a theory what does tray hutchinson christopher scott pine and myself have in common. all three of us prior law enforcement all graduated from airline. me and scott in97 trey was a yr or 2 behind.

    5. ryan gatti even went on to claim that it was a federal court order preventing me from being put back on my meds that a us congressman was behind it. the deal is 2 yrs back pay for compensation for what happened at bpcc involving judge craigs daughter taylor. the randy gatti telling me all this crap about the bank robbery and telling me it was judge craig and dirty bossier cops. dirty cops maybe but i dont think it was judge craig. either ryan or a congressman if thats true. also to get 100 percent disability i have tovtake xanx when im adhd since the age of 6 or 7.been on adderall for 10 yrs. thats almost 20000 plus above the reg 733 a month. you know what i say take that xanxx and money and stick where the sun dont shine. another thing my old boss from m and m body shop was telling me about a murder that took place in riverwood apts involving a boyfriend and girlfriend and someone from a remodeling company in bossier trying to get some. well something went wrong she was killed and it was blamed on the boyfriend. go figure.

  5. Mr. Gatti is a supporter of Mr. Edwards and has contributed $2000 to his campaign. He also hosted a meet and greet event for Mr. Edwards back in July, 2014.

  6. On facebook, Mr Gatti directly responded to an educator that he "has not endorsed Edwards". Anon 11:29A and 5:00P, you are incorrect. In this instance "support" and/or "endorse" needs to be put in a political context.
