  1. That part of Bossier is so dirty and nasty. People there are poor and uncivilized. Rusheon got a score of 82, which is failing by state standards. The bearkats got 77, which is even worse. I really wish it weren't so poor over there.

  2. It's not that it is "so poor over there". It is because that area is infested with lazy government leeches who simply refuse to make a better way of life for themselves and their children. To them, their children are merely just more of a free paycheck come the first of the month. SMH

  3. If their children would go to school, pay attention and get an education maybe their generation would not be so poor. If being poor caused crime what would have happened during the depression?

  6. Nobody but you said that which is typical of what dems do. You and people like you are what keeps these people poor. Stop some of the hand outs and people will go to work and will no longer be "poor and uncivilized" as you said.

  9. Wow! The comments are typical southern racism at its finest! When you finally figure out that your racist rants are inappropriate you will be in the nursing home surrounded by the same people you despise. I challenge Jim, Bubba and others to call this type of inappropriate behavior out and elevate the discourse. Wow, so predictable.

  10. 8:50,

I challenge you to go live in that neighborhood for six months. Let your kids go to school with those kids. I bet in 6 months you'll change your way of thinking.

  11. I was talking about this with some co-workers tonight. Jeepers! At 10 years old, I still thought girls had cooties.

Except for my Mom, of course.

There are SO MANY things at work here that it would take all night to write what everybody already knows. I mean...at least everybody with half a brain.

"Poor" is a poor excuse. Hell, rich folks like the Kennedys liked to rape and kill chicks, too...and abuse drugs...and behave like animals. Screw that! It's bad learning & bad examples...rich, or poor, that create miscreants.

  12. Why is it that only the poor can get away with blaming everyone else for their financial state?

  13. I believe that in this country one chooses to stay poor. We have made it too easy to be poor otherwise poor parents would encourage thier children to do better.

  14. Kartman,
At one time your argument about choosing to be poor would have been correct, but today with Obama in office, soon I believe it will not be a matter of choice.

Racism and racist remarks aren't for Southerners or whites only. I'm going to shock you. There are racists in the north, there are racists out west, and there are racists in all races.

  15. Anon 5:49 Obama does make it difficult. Poor people continue to vote for dems. who in turn do things to keep them poor.

  16. Poor people have been voting Democrat for fifty years. They are still poor!

  17. I heard that one time a photographer went to Bossier Elementary to take class photos. He got one class in position to take the picture and said, "Say Cheese!" Half the kids ran to form a line.

  19. I almost split my side laughing at Kartman saying "If being poor caused crime what would have happened during the depression?" Do the names Bonnie & Clyde ring any bell at all? How about Ma Barker and her boys? Pretty Boy Floyd? Dillinger? Baby Face Nelson? The list just goes on and on in answer to the question "What would happen during the depression if poverty was related to crime?" But it was not just that these people rose up out of poverty to be notorious criminals, there was the phenomenon of those criminals being counted as legendary and heroic characters by the vast majority of the poverty stricken who remained law abiding citizens.
