  1. Now
    THAT SUCKS!

Don't they know that Saturday Night is "Bath Night???"

  2. I know, I take a bath every Saturday whether I need it or not. Guess I'll have to miss a week!

  3. Jim, go ahead on and do it on Friday night.

Then you can put on your "Saturday-go-to-meetin' clothes," and become an Adventist.

Or...you could go ahead on and fill up the tub on Friday...then, fill up a bunch of pots...heat 'em up on Saturday night...pour 'em in to the tepid tub (for comforts' sake), and all will be right with the world.

You'll be the cleanest Bentonian at Church on Sunday!

It's all in the forethought & preparation, ya' know.

    Don't bother to thank me.

  4. It will be ok! Most of us Benton Folks don't take bathes anyway. I am more worried about the comodes filling up!

  5. What's a comode? Isn't that vanilla ice cream on top of an apple pie?

  6. Plain Dealing - I understand your confusion. Just think of it as an indoor outhouse. It's amazing.
Seriously, I'm going to fill up some jugs for the terlet. That's just nasty not to have water.
On top of that, I have to go to a baby beauty paegent in Vivian Saturday. Guess I'll have to shower at my daughter's house before I go.
Anyone know if Haughton has running water?

  7. Good luck in the pageant, Jim!

Don't be nervous...I'm sure you'll do just fine.

  8. terlet,,,is spelled with an oi, hence toilet not terlet.

Please help us undo the image of this area to the world that these Billionair Bayou Jed Clampetts go to NYC to kill rats with a pest control superstar/Rock star wannabe, is doing to the fine folks of the ArkLaTex.

Oil is spelled with oi, not erl.

    Tehe,hehe!

  12. 5:34 just made a reference to a Hollywood film.

    That was pretty dang clever!

Hey Jimbo...why can I not subscribe to comments via computer letters now? All I see is this weird commenting deal with no "check box" to subscribe.

    Sucks.

I have to keep coming back over and over to see what folks have said.

Have you been screwin' with the knobs? Again!

Or, is this Globber making some more changes that are guaran-dang-teed to make Globbing a more easier and pleasant experience?

  13. Andy, I promise it wasn't me. It is just more of Google's plan of global domination (which is going very well, from what I can tell).

  14. This is troubling.

    I'm not happy.
