To no one's surprise, Judge Jeff Cox upheld the April 21 bond election. John Settle must pay all costs of the lawsuit.
The Times has a copy of the judgment here.

Are you saying a politically motivated ruling would have been to overturn the increase and piss off every educator in Bossier Parish?

  7. 2nd Circuit? I thought he was considering La. Sup. Court.

  8. That legal titan John Settle strikes again. Why would anyone spend their hard earned money on that guy as their lawyer?

  9. Jeff cox is a good judge - he rules just as much against the government as he does with it - he did the right thing - settle never does the right thing - in fact - this is my last comment about a settle matter - i am stopping all talk about settle because it is a frivilous as talking about monkies flying out of my butt - neither are worth of comment and both are not productive discussions -

  10. Good try mr. Settle. Keep up the good work. I sure you will appeal the decision. Maybe the 2nd circuit will give you a fair shake.

  11. Jeff Cox knows less about law than any judge in the 26th JDC. He's also unprofessional and a swinger.
