Jimbo, thanks for posting this. My cousin was the drum major in the early 70's, and older cousins marched in the late 60's.
Man, they were good. They were a real credit to our small town, traveling to big-time venues with their snappy uniforms, precision marching, and first-rate musical ability.
This is a real blast from the past for me. I remember sitting in the stands at Memorial Stadium as a very young kid with my Daddy & Granddaddy, and hearing the crowd roar with each fancy move.
Man...good times! Really good times. I linked this post on my Facebook page. Lots of old BHS grads are going to appreciate this.
Rules of the road: 1. No personal attacks or insults. 2. No accustory statements about wrongdoing or criminal acts against anyone. 3. Say all you want about the pros and cons concerning the candidates and the issues, or the general subject of the blog post, just follow Rule #1 and Rule #2.
