Just asking.

  1. That will never happen.

  2. Halphen would be a breath of fresh air in the sheriffs office. I'll bet Larry Deen is getting nervous.

  4. Oh i think it is very possible - deen is a paper tiger - you dig even a little bit and it would make joe shyne blush - it is going to be an ugly election cycle

  5. If that is what Halphen is planning, you are absolutely right, it will be ugly. It will make the judge's race last year look like a Sunday School picnic.

  6. I know him very well and he does not want to.
He is just going to relax after retirement

  7. If anyone thinks Deen is bad they haven't worked under Halphen. What a joke. He's not for his men, never has been. He has a small problem with "cough syrup" and getting on the police radio shouting out commands. He's not interested in the Sheriff's department. He's got higher goals.... Mayor. And I hope the people of Bossier are smart enough to see through him and look at his history, which he has lots of.

  8. Deen makes Halphen look like a saint. I wonder if anyone knows how Halphen met his first wife. He was a police officer and she was a young girl still in highschool. She has told this story many times. I was also told from a very close source that Halphen upset the D.A. when he made late night calls to his house very intoxicated asking for prosecutions for political purposes. If Halphen runs for mayor or Sheriff there are many deep pockets in the parish who expose the bone in his closet, I hope he does, his corruption needs to be shown. Maybe he can attend AA meetings with the city Marshall.
